Daily Yoga Classes - Class Structure

Morning Batch

  • The class is elevated with mild soothing music and starts with chanting of powerful Mantras
  • A warm-up that includes asanas like Chakravakasana, Cradle Pose and other energising postures
  • Different types and variations of Surya Namaskaras are practised
  • Different types of Yoga Vinyasa flows put together in a beautiful manner to reap the benefits of the postures with Movement in-breath is practised
  • The class ends with rest and Śavasana
  • Pranayama is also included on some days followed by Chanting of Shanthi Mantra

Evening Batch

  • Starts with Prayers to Sage Patanjali
  • Warm-ups include slow and mild movements like Tādāsana, Utthansana & Veerabharāsana. Sometimes different types of Surya namaskara may also be used as a warm-up.
  • Every class is usually based on a Goal Posture, depending on the group.
  • Based on the Goal posture, the Preparatory postures are practised after or as warm-up as a free flow of asanas.
  • After achieving the Goal Posture, the class slowly reverts to counterposes to avoid any negative effects that may be carried on going into the Goal Posture.
  • The class then closes with Śavasana or Pranayama & Dhyana followed by a closing prayer.

  • ‘Whoever can eat on his own, can do Yoga” answers the question - what is the best age to start Yoga which is generally 6-7 Years of Age.
  • Students can visit the unique Centre - Sri Krishna Wellness Yoga Centre and meet the highly experienced Teachers to chalk out any specific Yoga Methods suitable to him/her and accordingly join the classes.
  • Yoga Rahasya specifies the Krama (Method) for choosing the Yoga Class. Our Highly Experienced Teachers shall suggest a Method that is based on your physical fitness and requirements;
    • Physical Ability - Health issues, Any Aches and Pains, Weakness etc.,
    • Mental Ability - Depression, Anxiety or Stress
    • Emotional Ability - Coping Pressure with , Family and Work-Related Issues, etc.

Late Shri T. Krishnamacharya, often called the Father of Modern Yoga and was the master and teacher to other great Yoga teachers such as Shri BKS Iyengar, and Madame Indra Devi. The essence of Krishnamacharya tradition is that "Yoga Practice must be tailored to fit each person, an individual must find his/her own structure".
