A gentle warm up yoga session
A Typical Yoga class session will have the students, excited, and ready for the teacher on their yoga mats. The class will begin with some warm up exercises and Asanas. This will be followed by asana practice with vinyasa yoga flows in Astanga or hatha or the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) classical traditional yoga style.
Yoga class schedule
Sometimes the classes will have a Goal Posture focus with preparatory asanas to achieve the goal. On some days the class will include a practice focused on building stamina and core muscles. Some classes will be focused on improving flexibility. Some classes may even have a greater focus on Pranayama.
