Apart from body and mind, we believe we need to also continuously cultivate our spiritual side. But we also know that each of us is different, and respond better to different spiritual stimuli. Hence, we offer separate streams of spiritual pursuit, in line with recommendations the Bhagavat Gita.

Spirituality

Gyana Yoga

FOR THOSE INCLINED TOWARDS KNOWLEDGE AND DEVOTION, WE ORGANIZE A SERIES OF ‘MUST-DO’ ACTIVITIES.

Bhagavat Gita classes are the bedrock of these initiatives. Regular classes by renowned experts focus on both chanting as well as the deep meaning of the Gita. This is an ongoing effort, but students can join in at any time, benefiting from our plug-and-play modules.

Spiritual Discourses are great for people inclined to invest time and effort into the spiritual path. Discourses by famous vedantis and inspiring speakers will be an intrinsic part of the experience at Krishna Wellness. These in-depth sessions will soak us in the infinite spiritual richness of India.

Bhakti Yoga

FOR THOSE INCLINED TOWARDS KNOWLEDGE AND DEVOTION, WE ORGANIZE A SERIES OF ‘MUST-DO’ ACTIVITIES.

Bhajans & Kirtans are a joyous way to keep our minds on God. Every state of India has a glorious heritage of Bhajans, with immense contributions from sages like Meera, Tulsidas, Soordas, Namdev, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and Sadasiva Brahmendra , to name a few. This art form further evolves into specialized formats such as Nama Samkirtanam , Harikatha etc. We plan to reflect this rich heritage at all times, deep-diving into the nectar of the Lord’s every day.

Chanting is a humble, but incredible daily habit. While it draws us in every day for the joy of participation, it also soothes our senses through the incredible benefits of its healing sounds. Chanting is a simple way to soak in the glory of the Almighty, recommended by many saints as the ultimate everyday spiritual practice.

Ahimsa

Ahimsa is the foundation upon which Yoga and Humanity is based on. Ahimsa to Animals is most important in our Yoga journey. And Ahimsa to Elephants is very close to our hearts. We have been supporting the great initiatives led by CUPA WRRC for almost 8 years. They are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of captive elephants. For more details

Compassion and Kindness is the best outcome which we recieve by practicing Yoga in all paths. And compassion is most needed especially during our golden years. We are happy to have supported Lourdes Old Age Home in Bangalore for 7 years now. It all began in helping an old disabled women who was abandoned on the pavement and from there it has led to a wonderful association with Sister Anshu. Our Mission

"To spread holistic health to Govt. Schools Children through YOGA and empower them with mindfulness for a healthier and more enriched life."

Reach To Teach is a social initiative setup by Krishna Wellness, Yoga and Cultural Centre to spread the rich Indian heritage of Yoga, dance, and cultural activities across various sections of our society, and to the less privileged, for a healthy and happier life. Holistic wellbeing is a key agenda of Krishna Wellness Yoga & Cultural Centre and we strongly believe that Yoga, dance and music are key tools in bringing mindfulness into each one of our lives for a holistic wellbeing for a safer and happier society.

This platform has been specially created to primarily spread the power of Yoga to less privileged, especially children in Government Schools , colleges and other NGO’s and institutions. This initiative has already tied up with Government Schools and NGO’s in Bangalore where we plant to introduce Yoga classes as part of their time table.

Every year we celebrate International Day of Yoga with government school & college children by practicing Yoga . We conduct regular classes at these institutions weeks before this day, as a run up to the celebrations.

Here are a glimpses of our celebrations in some of the government schools & colleges in Bangalore.
