The pranayama limb of yoga is an extremely effective tool to remove toxins and undigested matter from our body and paves the way for the mind to achieve a highly focused state of concentration. The regulation of breath practised under the guidance of an experienced and qualified teacher over a sustained period of time helps in losing weight.
These two limbs of yoga practised diligently in a sustained manner have an extremely positive and calming impact on the practitioner. He becomes extremely mindful in all his actions paving the way for a disciplined lifestyle, especially with his or her eating habits which is most important for weight management. Yoga practice enables a person to eat the right things at the right time in the right quantity. It also has a positive impact on sleep patterns. And all this in turn contribute to a healthy life.
