The Yoga Certification Course from Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM- Chennai)
The KYM yoga certification course has been a wonderful immersion into the world of yoga. The course was extremely satisfying and every class was an unravelling of a new, interesting facet and I looked forward to every bit of the course including the tests, exams and presentations!
Beyond just Asanas and exercises – Exploring Indian Culture & Scriptures that form the basis of traditional Yoga
Exploring Indian culture and scriptures has made me realise how fortunate and blessed I am that I am part of such a deep and amazing culture! It has brought home the fact that yoga is a way of life preached from time immemorial and most of us have unfortunately moved completely away from it. This course has been God sent at the right time to give a new meaningful direction in my life.
Keeping the age-old “Guru-Shishya” tradition alive during modern times
The guru shishya tradition still has lot of relevance in the present times. Ofcourse, there will be changes in the extent and ways in which it will be followed. But true, genuine learning which ignites the strong desire and curiosity for further exploration is the corner stone of guru shishya ‘parampara’. And this kind of learning is true education which gently grows on us and takes us further in our self-exploration journey.
We request you to please block Saturday, on May 18th, 2019 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm to celebrate the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) KWC Yoga Teacher Training Certification Programme – Graduation Day with us at Sri Krishna Wellness Yoga & Cultural Centre, Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
