Read Time: 6 minutes

Contrary to belief, Yoga is not complicated or hard. Did you wake up this morning and stretch your arms? That’s a basic yoga pose! What makes normal stretching and exercising different from Yoga is mindfulness. Yoga is a mindful art. Observe your body, notice how different Yogic postures feel, and your mental/physical health will improve.

Sri Krishna Wellness Centre has been on a long mission to make these basic Yoga techniques popular. We provide both in-person and digital yoga classes in Bangalore. During the pandemic, every Indian was concerned about their health. To serve their needs, we curated a set of immunity-boosting Yoga techniques. You can check out these classes on our digital platform.

Our online yoga classes can boost your immunity against viral or bacterial risks. They can also help you boost your overall health. Many of the yoga postures we teach will feel familiar to beginners. That’s because we start by teaching poses that our bodies are naturally adept at making.

Here are some more vital fitness yoga tips you can learn in our yoga studio in Bangalore or on our digital platform.

Mindfulness

Adding Mindfulness to Physical Exercises

Do you know what sets apart Olympic-level athletes from the average person? Apart from intense diets and daily practice, mindful exercising also plays a huge part. Take Olympic shooter rifle shooter Apurvi Chandela for instance. Every day, she practices Yoga to achieve mental and physical strengthening.

The first thing students learn at our yoga classes in Bangalore is the mental aspect of Yoga. Through simple breathing techniques, students learn how to master their minds. The more attention you pay while practicing Yoga techniques (or any other exercise or activity), the better you perform.

The combination of physical flexibility and mental strength makes Yoga a truly unique art. Students can start adding mindfulness to their physical activities by practicing Pranayama exercises in our online Yoga classes. The techniques we teach are recommended by doctors to patients with respiratory diseases. They significantly boost the student’s respiratory and circulatory health.

Daily Yoga Exercises

Every pose and Yogic technique we teach in our online Yoga classes have their own perks. But, these perks and advantages only start manifesting themselves if they are practiced regularly. If you’re unsure about making Yoga a daily part of your life, check out our free sample Yoga classes.

Review whether you’re ready for daily yoga practice. Don’t worry about timing. We offer four live sessions of online Yoga training every day. Once you make Yoga education a part of your day to day life, you can start learning complex Yogic techniques and postures. Here are some introductory Yogic techniques and postures that will boost your fitness –

The Mountain Pose

Tadasana, the “mountain pose”, is a simple, beginner-friendly Yoga technique.

  • Stand straight on a solid surface; create a small gap between your two feet.
  • Raise both arms and keep them up by interlocking your fingers.
  • With deeply breathing (inhale), raise your both arms.
  • Engage the muscles of your limbs. Keep the bones in your arms fixed with the shoulders in a straight line.
  • Raise your heels and place the weight of your body on your toes.
  • Hold the pose for 10 seconds. Repeat 3-4 times.
  • Breathe in and out every time you repeat the mountain pose.

The Triangle  Pose

Trikonasana, the triangular pose, is an asana (position) that boosts the amount of oxygen travelling through your body. It involves intense diaphragmatic breathing. Students have to breathe through their noses and put pressure on their lungs to contract and extract completely.

When you perform the triangular pose, your lungs open up. Once oxygen supply and blood circulation improve, your heart opens up as well. Overall, your breathing technique will improve massively with this technique. Shallow breaths inhaled and exhaled from the mouth are dangerous for our health.

Such breathing contributes to stress, skin damage, poor circulatory and respiratory health. People who master this pose (along with other Pranayama exercises) at our yoga classes in Bangalore boost their fitness. The improvements in their rhythmic and deep breathing have significant impacts on the other aspects of their life as well.

The Cobra Pose

Bhujangasana (1)

Bhujangasana is a Yogic pose that strengthens the back muscles. Back problems are a major issue affecting countless Indians. Practicing the Cobra Pose every day can help them fix these issues pretty easily. During this exercise, students have to straighten and stretch their spines.

This stretching also loosens the back muscles. The deep breathing step is a constant throughout the Bhujangasana process. The combination of deep breathing and stretching improves respiratory and circulatory health. The improved blood circulation also makes other internal organs in the body healthier.

At our online Yoga classes, students learn all types of Yoga fitness techniques. Some of them include – Pawan Mukta Asana, Kapalabhati, Anulom Vilom Pranayama, and Bhastrika. If you want to safeguard your health and immune system, sign up with Sri Krishna Wellness Center now.
